All 10 Day Theater Challenge Rules
Synopsis:
On Day 1, all student performers and teachers will be assigned a character, backstory, prop and line of dialogue that must be used in an original stage production created in their assigned 10 school days.
Also on Day 1, 10 performance genres (such as 'romance' or 'comedy', etc...) will be given to the teachers. Students will 'draw from a hat' 1 of these 10 genres. Students must create their own performance piece with that genre in mind. Once a student draws a movement from a hat, the student can not change.
SPECIAL RULE FOR GENRE SELECTION: Any student may trade-in the genre they 'pick from a hat' on Day 1 and ONLY replace it with our special 'trade in genre' if they desire. We will announce this special trade-in genre on Day 1 to the teachers.
